Ranbir, Katrina Are Framed in New Jagga Jasoos Still

Anurag Basu will reportedly direct a 13-episode TV series, titled Jagga Jasoos, which will act as a curtain raiser to familiarise the audience with the content of his film Jagga Jasoos, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. According to sources, a child artiste will play Ranbir's character in the TV series, which will showcase the formative years of Jagga. The grapevine also suggests that Ranbir will make an appearance in the final episode of the TV series.

The alleged high profile break-up of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif has been the hottest topic in news circuits for a while now. While the split came as blow to many, director Anurag Basu seemed to have got the worst end of the stick as his already delayed 'Jagga Jasoos', staring Ranbir-Katrina as leads, was said to be in a fix; the rumoured reason being Katrina's unwillingness to work with Ranbir. And the fact that Kat is shooting for 'Baar Baar Dekho' while Ranbir shoots for Anurag's film alone, further fueled the rumours. However, Anurag has finally come out to rubbish these rumours. The director quoted saying that schedules of films this big are always planned months in advance. Anurag further stated that it was preplanned that Katrina will shoot for Nitya Mehra's film around this time and will resume 'Jagga Jasoos' shoot on March 6. Meanwhile, Ranbir was to complete his solo portions. Well, that clears the air!
